AudaExplore Introduces Total Loss Vehicle Valuation System

AudaExplore recently announced the integration of Total Loss Manager with the company's Autosource total valuation platform for total loss vehicle valuation.

 

AudaExplore said the integration allows insurance carriers to provide measurable improvement to total settlements that increase customer satisfaction.

CCC Information Services Publishes 2015 Crash Course Report

CCC Information Services announced on March 26 the availability of its 2015 Crash Course, a report that focuses on the trends and business drivers impacting the auto physical damage industry.

 

This year’s report examines ‘Smart Connections’, the pervasiveness of technology and the subsequent availability of rich data that is being shared between consumers, vehicles, insurers and auto repairers.

 

Crash Course is compiled using research and information from a wide range of sources and an aggregated set of data from CCC’s data warehouse, which includes approximately 160 million claims worth of information.

Discussions on Labor Rate Surveys and Steering to be Held in Californiaorornia

The California Department of Insurance will hold pre-notice public discussions regarding changes to the California Code of Regulations, Title 10, Chapter 5, Subchapter 9, Article 7 (“Auto Body Repair Labor Rate Surveys” and “Anti-Steering” Regulations).

 

The purpose of the discussions is to provide interested and affected persons an opportunity to present statements or comments regarding the contemplated regulations.
